Advanced Young Rangers SEP2012

September’s activity for the AONB Advanced Young Rangers began with an orienteering challenge around the Blackmoor Reserve at Charterhouse.  As well as following the trail the teams of two had to collect photographs of a list of natural objects.  In the afternoon the group worked on a practical task to clear encroaching scrub from a ruined building to prevent the archaeology of the Charterhouse lead works from being damaged by roots.
