Practical Volunteering in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)
The Mendip Hills AONB Unit’s new summer programme of volunteer practical tasks is now available. The AONB Unit has a very committed group of regular volunteers but is always seeking new recruits to join them on a regular or occasional basis.
The AONB Volunteers are involved with all sorts of activities which help the AONB Unit to care for sites on the Mendip Hills. The current work programme will assist a number of community projects and work on some of the AONBs most iconic sites including the opportunity to join the National Trust for a day of dry stone walling at Crook Peak.
Tasks take place fortnightly on Tuesdays, starting from 25th June. Booking is essential so we have the right amount of equipment and can contact volunteers with latest information.
If you would like further details or to book onto an activity, please contact Nichola Penn by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07770 646161
