Stone Age Bone Age – Free event to discover Black Down in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)



On Tuesday 20th August from 2-4pm take a wander back in time with storyteller Michael Loader. Voyage underground and up Burrington Combe to get a closer look at the “Grand Designs” of our Stone Age ancestors. With facts figures and fiction, Michael will bring to life the fascinating history of Burrington Combe in an entertaining way for everyone who is 5 years and older.

Torches and sensible footwear will be required as you will be looking into the entrances of some caves you discover on route.
