3.5 Million Years in 3.5 miles – Free event to discover Black Down in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

On Sunday 1st September from 2-4pm join members of the Charterhouse Environs Research Team on this voyage of discovery through thousands of years of history. From Bronze Age Barrows to World War II anti-aircraft tumps and decoy town, Black Down has a fascinating history of human occupation waiting to be discovered.
