Still in the Stone Age – 8th April Free Easter holiday activity in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

cave 1On Tuesday 8 April 2-4pm explore the geology and history of the caves around the Black Down and BurringtonCommons with Juliet Lawn from the Somerset Earth Science Centre.

During this 2 hour hands on session, you will discover what lies beneath you at this popular site and some surprising ways we use rock today.

This fun and exciting Easter Holiday activity is ideal for families.

Meet at Burrington Combe lower car park at 2.00pm (bring a torch and wear strong shoes and warm, waterproof clothing).
