This summer why not join in one of the free family fun days on Black Down and Burrington Commons.

Thursday 24th July from 2-4pm become a nature detective on the Butterflies Bugs and Beasties event and learn all about the fascinating world of minibeasts using nets bug pots or bare hands for the brave explorers.

Thursday 7th August come along to the Stone Age Bone Age afternoon between 2-4pm to find out what it was like to live in the Stone Age. Learn how people used to live thousands of years ago. Build shelters hunt for food and make things out of natural materials.

Join in the Bee Scene on Thursday 14th August 2pm-4pm. Using nets and bug pots, take part in the bee survey and find out how many different types of bees are living on Black Down. Play the nectar game for a fun way of learning how important bees are for human existence.
