Volunteers2Keen to get some fresh air and exercise after the Christmas excesses? If so why not come and spend a day on Burrington Ham on Saturday 10th January from 10am to 3pm.
Learn all about this traditional way of managing a woodland for wildlife and find out what nationally rare animal you will be helping. This hands on woodland day will involve cutting down hazel to promote regrowth and building dead hedges to protect the new growth from deer. This is the perfect way to learn new skills, get some post Christmas exercise and help our wildlife at the same time.
