Jim Hardcastle, AONB Manager, said, ‘This is a rare opportunity for someone to be a Ranger on the Mendip Hills. We’re very proud of the way we’ve built our volunteering opportunities recently and this role takes it to the next level. We’ve managed on two days a week from our Volunteer Coordinator up until now so taking it to a full time role will mean we can do so much more. It’s a very exciting time.’
