Let the Mendip Rangers reveal how nature has reclaimed an industrial landscape at the heart of the Mendip Hills. The strange shapes and ‘gruffy ground’ that are now rich in wildlife will be explained. You’ll be walking in the footsteps of the Romans and see the town they developed and then how the Victorians shaped the ground even more!
There will be some grassy slopes but most of this walk is on firm ground with gates for access.
Meet at Charterhouse Centre, however please do not use the centre car park.
