Walk includes examination of geological features linked to different episodes of fluid-rock interaction in the Carboniferous and Triassic rocks of Tor Hill Woods – evidence of early Wells springs?
Walk will be led by Doug Robinson, local geologist and retired lecturer from Bristol University, through Tor Hill Woods. Half the route will be along established footpaths (steep sections in places) and then half on the footpath alongside the B3139, Wells-Dulcote road.
