Avon Wildlife Trust – The largest membership-based wildlife organisation in the area, dedicated to promoting and protecting wildlife. Their vision is of local landscapes richer in wildlife, delivering a better quality of life for all. Their mission is to inspire people about wildlife, act as a wildlife champion, create wildlife havens, and encourage sustainable living.

British Trust for Conservation Volunteers – The charity was set up in 1959, and has a successful history of environmental conservation volunteering throughout the UK and around the world. Working with and supporting BTCV can be a rewarding experience for corporate partners, the Government, Big Lottery Fund, local authorities, government agencies such as English Nature and individual donors. Will you support BTCV? As a charity, BTCV relies heavily on voluntary donations. The work they do is only made possible by people like you – people who want to make a difference to their community and environment.

Cam Valley Wildlife Group is an independent, volunteer-run, wildlife group based around Midsomer Norton and Radstock. Sunday 25th March. Spring Walk at Ebbor Gorge

Fernhill Farm  Eco-Farm visits starting again from the 1st November FREE to groups of more than 10 approximately 2 hours duration. Meetings, Conferences and Corporate Events.

Goblin Combe  – Goblin Combe is a charity committed to helping everyone realise their potential through experience in the natural environment.

Hawk and Owl Trust – The Hawk and Owl Trust was founded in 1969 because of concerns about the alarming decline in numbers of Peregrines and other raptors.

Sedgemoor Conservation Volunteers – Sedgemoor Conservation Volunteers are a group of volunteers who carry out practical conservation work on local nature reserves. They are a mixed group of people of all ages and backgrounds. They encourage the help of people working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme qualifications, and Millennium Volunteers.

Somerset Wildlife Trust – Somerset Wildlife Trust has more than 19,000 members and this site features the latest news on environmental issues in the county, as well as educational resources, contact information and lists of upcoming events.

Walk the Mendips We deliver a wide range of activities from short taster sessions, courses, wild food walks, foraging & cook-ups, and bushcraft expeditions.
