We are Somerset’s Three Hundred and Sixty Degrees – 6 hills you can visit and walk up to get fit for free and while you’re doing that experience dramatic and expansive three hundred and sixty degree views of Somerset and beyond and while you’re doing that the cobwebs will blow away followed by the worries and the woes followed by the frowns and maybe a tear or two followed by a few hats maybe a picnic basket perhaps a chocolate wrapper (but we are trying to get fit here- and not litter of course) maybe followed by the dog? But anyway come and find us over the next few months and climb to the top, have a good look around and see if I’m right and let me know if I’m wrong and tell me how it went for you – in pictures if you prefer. Enjoy us! experience dramatic and expansive 360 ˚views of Somerset and beyond from six hill-tops around the Somerset Levels
The hills all have intriguing names, such as Tor, Mump, and Knoll and although some physical effort is required, varying from short climbs (just 5 mins to top of Burrow Mump!) to longer steeper climbs (Crook Peak), it is well worth it for the breath taking 360˚ views from their summits.
Enjoy the experience of being in stunning countryside and the challenge of ‘conquering’ all 6 over a weekend, months or a year. Do one or more of the hills, as part of a day visit or longer stay in the area, and visit other nearby attractions.
